Gas main breaks after Mesa crash. fire rages in area
A Mesa crash along E McKellips Road at Mesa Drive started a gas main fire with flames reaching 50 to 60 feet. A Mesa woman Pat Riedhead, field 735 N Date, was identified as the victim. Power lines fell, gas ignited, and utility crews shut off supplies. A separate shed fire at 200 E Main St was also extinguished later Friday.
