Dinner At Outpost Draws Sixty Five Attendees
Sixty five people from nearly every Scottsdale group attended a Civic Coordinating Council meeting at the Outpost on October 15. Larry Williams of Sunland Life Insurance proposed a fundraiser for a community center, with donations equal to half of the first year’s premium and 5 percent annually for nine years. Each represented organization would form a five member committee to run a drive, and any group selling 15 plus qualifying prospects with average policies around 3000 would earn a $100 bonus. Chet Smith led the meeting as Council president.
