Four Burglaries Probed By Scottsdale Police
Scottsdale police investigate four burglaries reported Tuesday with more than 2000 dollars in cash checks and valuables stolen. The Circle K at 3050 N 68th St lost 1200 in cash and checks after a padlock removal. At the Ramada Inn Sol Geller’s room yielded about 100 in cash and items from Paul Tillinger’s room. A stereo and color TV were taken from W Francis Wilson’s home on East Coolidge Avenue. Entry methods vary with no forced entry in some cases.

Jeff Barnes age 20 of 5818 BE Camelback was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and disturbing the peace after an incident at 10444 N Scottsdale Road at 7 30 p m Tuesday. An attendant Terry Bramble said Barnes displayed a .38 revolver during a discussion and police recovered the gun from an auto on Scottsdale Road.
