Odd-lot execution choice boosts instant trades
Brokers now offer an odd-lot execution service where orders are filled from the firm quote, eliminating the extra odd-lot charge, or can route tickets to the NYSE floor for execution with the corresponding charge. The program promises instant execution without additional fees. It may herald broader real-time broker executions from office quotes.
