Scottsdale philanthropist leads Phoenix Zoo horse show fundraising
Mrs. Yvette Ward, a former Brown and Bigelow executive and Hudson newspaper publisher, heads the fundraising for the Phoenix Zoo Horse Show. She delegates to a 25 woman committee, plans far in advance, and blends business rigor with community service. The event, in its 11th year, is highly regarded in national horse magazines and relies on public contributions rather than United Way funding.
