Bennett View On Tax Cut
Washington UPI reports Sen. Wallace F. Bennett predicts a real donny brook in Congress if Kennedy proposes new federal spending programs along with a broad tax cut. He may oppose any tax reduction without evidence of spending cuts. The administration contemplates 1963 tax relief favoring individuals, possible corporate rate cut, and reforms on sick pay, capital gains, oil and gas taxation, and dividend exclusions.
