Arizona chauffeurs with 1950 licenses may renew for 1951 starting January 1. Walter B. Nash, supervisor, Driver's License department, said renewal helps ease year start load. About 30,000 renewals expected. applications require examiner signature, visual exam report, $1 fee, and one photo.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Spence of Sherwood Michigan purchased a home on Miller Road and will become Scottsdale residents. They have been house guests of Mr and Mrs William H Messinger and Mr and Mrs Charles A Williams, Mrs Spence being the sister of Mr Messinger and Mrs Williams.
Monday Jack Taylor was named winner of the weekly football contest sponsored by Huddle ston’s service. He selected 17 of 20 winners and will receive 10 gallons of gas. Leslie Massey took second and John Utter finished third after a six way tie was broken by a drawing.
