Loma Artisans Merge Leather Feathers Into Distinct Fashion
Cindy and Bill Loma, from Chicago and Flagstaff respectively, form Loma Artisans to craft leather garb and original jewelry using feathers. They sell through California catalogs, show at conventions, and place pieces in Dallas and Las Vegas shops. Bill, Hopi, studied at IAIA and Santa Fe, designs jewelry with natural materials. Cindy designs garments with feather trims. They operate from Scottsdale Airport Industrial Park and plan expansion into pottery and wall hangings.
