Leonard's Leather Luxuries Opens in Scottsdale
Leonard's feature luxuries in leather opens Saturday November 17 at West Main street Scottsdalians. Miss Pearl Hirt and Jerry Finn manage the Phoenix store's local branch with a world class leather line from France England and Italy. One of a kind handmade handbags will be shown alongside full leather hides used as decor. Store hours are 930 am to 530 pm.

Brownmoor Girls Take Prizes at Junior Horse Show
Brownmoor School stables owners Margaret and Herbert E Grey bear saw eight Brownmoor girls compete at the State Fair grounds Thursday November 8. Molly Jackson won the horsemanship trophy and blue ribbon in the hunter seat class. Betsy Chambers placed fifth and Doreen Dumont took second in horsemanship western with 27 entries. Miriam Lasher earned third in horsemanship park set. In English pleasure second went to Mr Quint with Dumont riding. fourth to Seguin. fifth to Murphys Bourbon Chief with Mary Kay Nevalis riding. The Western matched pairs were won by Gail and Gary Herberger.
