Swindler admits bribing officials in state
Howard Woodall testified before the Arizona House Government Operations Committee that he bribed county state and federal officials in Arizona but named individuals were blocked by prosecutor Joe Keilo. Woodall, 42, of Glendale, is a federal prisoner serving long fraud sentences and led Del Rio Springs Inc., a defunct firm that bilked jet buyers and investors of over 10 million dollars in under two years. He said payments to utility employees were to gain promises of services for land subdivisions, while a trust fund for Yavapai County improvements was drained by blackmail payments to Stan Tanner, owner of the land.
