City Prosecutor Phil Grace admitted jokingly he is the court's best customer after paying more than 10 cash fines for overtime parking over the past year. He often left his car in front of Scottsdale City Court at 131 E Main St, sometimes exceeding the two hour limit while prosecuting traffic violators.
Paul Rademacher accused Arizona's re evaluation program of deliberate inequities and said assessments must reflect full cash value. He cited 62 Roosevelt District homes and a $6 million program, while legislators urged caution and suggested taxpayer action.
The Arizona Senate introduced an education bill to control expenditures and boost state aid, aiming to shift property tax burdens.
