Incumbents held firm across eight state House seats with minimal Democratic challenges. District four saw Tempe grocer James Shelley edge Democrat John Tait 3 506 to 3 387 while District five veteran James Holley won 2 483 to 2 213 over Tom Swann. Kret in District 12 and Pritzlaff in District 25 posted large margins. Frank Kelley won District 13 while Isabel Burgess ran unopposed for another term. Ruth Adams beat Art Hargrave in District 24.
