Art Week Observed Across Arizona and Nation
National Art Week in Arizona peaks this week with the display of outstanding Arizona and American works at the Arizona State Fair. Studios statewide open to the public and public exhibits planned in Valley civic centers. The observance began 26 years ago by Scottsdale artists within the Scottsdale Woman's Club under the General Federation of Women's Clubs, led by Garnet Davy Grosse.

Church of Christ May Organize Here
Scottsdalians who are Church of Christ members will meet Friday night November 5 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Loyd Eubank one and a half blocks north of the high school. The meeting starts at 7 30 and aims to plan organizing a church of Christ in the local area where none exists currently.
