A 53 year old Tucson man Howard S Crenshaw was bound over for Superior Court on two counts of armed robbery from November 1971 hold ups. He waived prelim in Scottsdale and was arrested in Phoenix by FBI and federal marshals on a flight to avoid prosecution warrant. The Trailwest Liquors robbery and a nearby 7 11 hold up each about 80 dollars were attributed to him. Victims identified Crenshaw and he remains held on 11000 bond.

Inquest Set in Death of Prospectors Guard Incident

Manhunt Suspended For Escaped Robber in Tucson
A manhunt for 23 year old Robert Miller who escaped from the Pima County courthouse was suspended near Tanque Verde Road after no trace of him was found. Miller had held James Blair hostage, then released him unharmed before fleeing.
