Youth Conducts Computer Study
Coronado senior Bill Hardy received grants from the National Institute of Health and the National Youth Science Camp to attend summer programs. NIH funds an eight week session at Pomona College in California for study of physical biology and computer programming from June 20 to August 14. A second three week grant from the National Youth Science Camp would have sent him to a science camp in West Virginia from June 24 to July 14 to study radio astronomy botany biology and computer programming. He declined the West Virginia camp as Pomona begins in the fall and the longer program would aid college adjustment.
