Judge studies marijuana charge against Thomas A. Perry
Justice of the Peace Harold Holcomb has taken under advisement a possession of marijuana charge against 18 year old Thomas A. Perry. Police found what appeared to be partially smoked marijuana cigarettes in his ear when he was arrested on burglary charges at a juvenile friend’s home. A warrant was issued after lab tests confirmed the cigarettes contained marijuana.

Schmid trial opens in Tucson murder case
Pima County Attorney William Schafer opened the state case against Charles Schmid in Superior Court. After a week of jury selection, the nine man three woman panel heard allegations that Schmid beat 15 year old Aileen Rowe to death and buried her in the desert.
