The Papago Mountain Lions Club will hold its second seat belt clinic Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm at the southeast corner of Scottsdale and McDowell Roads. The club installed more than 80 belts at its first clinic last Saturday. Belts and installation cost 6.50 per pair, said Charles Preston, project chairman. A third clinic may be held May 18.

Bombings Strike Kroger Stores in St Louis Area
Three Kroger stores in the St. Louis region were hit by bombs late Thursday. Police Capt. Stanley Sieron Jr. and Sgt. Leroy Fields were injured when their patrol car was blown into the air at an East St. Louis entrance. Fields suffered a possible concussion and Sieron a possible neck injury. damage estimates were not available. Maricopa County Superior Court jury awarded Wade Church one half of his libel suit against Phoenix Newspapers Inc publisher Eugene Pulliam and Michael Pader foreign editor.
