ASU Students Sleep Over Protest At Administration Building

About 20 Arizona State University students spent the night in sleeping bags in front of the Administration Building to protest unmet demands. Campus security reported no incidents. The sit in drew 300 protesters including ASU officials and campus figures who pledged no response to intimidation. The group seeks amnesty for ROTC demonstrators, a security inquiry, teachable forums on ROTC, an arrest review, and a new student disciplinary code. A student damaged a door during the Wednesday protest, and police may charge a student with destruction of state property. No injuries reported.

Carole-Anne Tregoff, 31, once convicted of murder with Dr Bernard Findon, was released on parole from the California Institution for Women. Her lover remains serving a life term for Barbara Jean Finch's slaying after three trials and earlier attorneys linked to Sirhan B. Sirhan.
