Sleuth movie review lands in toyland of deadly games
Dennis Yares describes Sleuth as a stagey film adapted from a Shaffer play. Olivier and Caine enact diabolic mind games within a mansion and a maze, blending witty lines with menace. The review lauds directing and score, notes the ending is ambiguous, and recommends the film to crime aficionados despite its confusion.
