At the Incorporation Committee meeting the Arizona code for towns 500 to 3500 population requires a five member city council with a selected mayor. A city clerk treasurer and marshal are needed with salaries set by the council. Funds lapse 60 to 90 days after incorporation. warrants may be issued. Ordinances must be drawn to start business. lawyers are drafting them. The first council is appointed by the board of supervisors. elections are in May. The date for presenting new boundaries and petitions is Monday, March 26 at 5:00 p.m. at the high school study hall. The public is invited.
