Lent Sacrificial Meals Unite Two Families for Charity
Reediger and Jorgenson families join five Arcadia congregations in a Lenten program. They replace regular meals with low cost options like creamed peas on toast and pound cake and save the difference for church offerings to Operation Rice Bowl One Great Hour of Sharing and Lutheran World Relief. The plan spreads as families invite others to share meals and continue weekly.
