Man Charged in Death of Five-May-Old Boy in Miami

Burglary at Scottsdale hits machines and home
Police reported two burglaries Thursday in Scottsdale. Cigarette machines at Mr E s on McDowell Road lost about 240 in coins and merchandise, while 195 was taken from a second unit. At the Emil Grimm residence on Jackrabbit Lane burglars rifled the home between 9 p.m and 2 a.m, leaving rifles pistols stereo equipment cameras liquor and other items at the scene after removing a rear window screen.

Four-year-old Douglas Shaffner charged with glue sniffing
Scottsdale police arrested four year old Douglas Shaffner of 14847 N 68th St at 10 55 a m while seated in a car in the 7000 block of East Becker Lane. Deputies were on the scene and Shaffner was held in a city jail.
