Viet Cong forces struck Quan Long in Ca Mau delta and shelled seven provincial capitals and U.S. bases. Butter seized amid DDT contamination in Arizona

About 2,000 pounds of DDT contaminated butter produced in Arizona were seized by the FDA two months ago. The butter was to be sold outside Arizona. Another 680,000 pounds stored in the state face possible seizure. Seized butter may be sold to soap manufacturers. Local dairy groups report farmers going out of business due to milk DDT levels not meeting federal standards.

Firemen Respond to Two Emergencies on Brown Avenue

Firefighters rushed to two emergencies yesterday at the Brown Avenue station. At 3 12 p m they put out a small fire in a car seat belonging to Minma Graham of 211 West Avenue causing about 25 dollars in damage. In a second incident Delores Peshoff of 8441 East Vernon had a ring stuck on her finger and was helped by the fire crew removing the ring.
