Barry Announces Reelection Candidacy for Maricopa County Schools
John H. Barry, Maricopa County School Superintendent, announced his bid for reelection in the Democratic Primary on September 9, 1952. He has led the county schools for twelve years and previously taught in Phoenix and Tempe, Arizona, with degrees from Arizona State College and Stanford University. He pledged an economical, state-supported education policy and urged rational administration.
