Rev. Charles Wilhoit of Norwalk California brother in law of Mayor Bud Tims, missing after his Beechcraft Bonanza radioed engine trouble over the Pacific near Southern California. Fifteen aircraft searched. coast guard said coastal search paused but to resume on new lead. Wilhoit, 27, pastor of Church of Christ in Norwalk, had visited the Tims family and once served as a Caribbean missionary. He and Catherine Tims have three children, and his flying was used in church work.
