Bids invited for Scottsdale High School district project
The Board of Education of Scottsdale High School District in Maricopa County invites bids for a construction project with a required wage scale for numerous trades. Bids must be sealed and filed by July 6 1951 at 2 00 PM with a 5 percent bid bond, and openings follow at the architect's office. The district may reject any bid and all workers must be paid at least the specified wages.

Square Dance Class To Close Register Tonight
Valley residents may join the beginners square dance class at Phoenix Recreation Hall 333 West Washington. Henry Wasielewski instructor says the course teaches fundamentals and popular Western dances from 8 to 10 30 p m with guest callers exhibitions and a graduation party at course end.
Church Work Night Slated For Friday At Local Church
Rev Powell Green of Leuitscale Methodist church announced tonight the first volunteer work night. All volunteers should wear work clothes and bring digging tools. Work starts 7:00 p.m. to convert the patio into an additional room for the church school. Ice cream will be served afterward. Mr Hubert Fant and Mrs Ella Fant are in San Jose, California visiting relatives.
