City council adopts subacre zoning after court order

The council, after a prior court ruling forced subacre zoning for a 40 acre parcel east of Tatum Boulevard and north of Mummy Mountain Road, voted to rezone to less than one acre. Members had unanimously denied a proposed ordinance allowing subacre lots under special use permits, and agreed the ordinance contained issues.
