Purebred Heifers to Head for 4-H at Arizona Dairy Event

Arizona 4-H members will have a chance to purchase registered dairy heifers from top state herds at a dairy heifer selection day planned for next September in Maricopa County. Associations for Ayrshire Guernsey Holstein Jersey and Milking Shorthorn will sponsor the event with committees picking eligible animals within a set price range. Applications are due by June 1 and information is available through local club leaders and county agents.
