Australian carrier slams into US destroyer Evans sinking bow section

Drier blamed in $2000 fire in Scottsdale storage
Firemen investigated a series of blazes in Scottsdale on Monday with several storage room fires. Harold Wire’s storage room at 2420 N 73rd Pl suffered about 900 to 9900 dollars in damage from an electric dryer. An unoccupied house at 7619 E Loma Linda Dr also saw a storage room fire causing around 900 dollars in damage, possibly due to wiring. A storage room blast at 7614 E Avalon caused no damage. A car fire at Scottsdale and Thomas Bus damaged about 104 dollars, blamed on a carburetor. Multiple brush fires occurred near Bist St and Indian School Rd and other locations.
