Arizona lawmakers and experts at the Arizona Tax Conference discussed possible increases to sales and income taxes to offset a projected 200 million dollar deficit in state spending. Professor Arlyn Larsen warned the deficit could appear by 1980 without tax reform, while House Speaker John Haugh urged changes by 1975.
