Esther Kopp, 69, of 4816 B. Amelia, owner of Scottsdale Health Food Store, died Saturday at Scottsdale Baptist Hospital. Born in Cleveland, she moved to Phoenix 15 years ago from Detroit where she ran a health food store for 25 years. Teen Injured In Scottsdale Car Crash

A 14 year old Scottsdale boy John Jackson was injured when a car driven by 15 year old Randy Steinke struck a parked vehicle on Whitton Avenue. Jackson was admitted to Scottsdale Baptist Hospital in satisfactory condition. Police report Steinke fled on foot and was cited for careless driving no operator’s license and leaving the scene.
