Council to delay zoning case at Thunderbird Industrial Park
The Tempe council plans to continue a contentious rezoning request for two 17 acre strips at Thunderbird Industrial Air Park with a required three fourths approval due to a legal protest led by State Rep. Americo Carvalho. Vice Mayor Campana will miss meeting leaving six members to approve. In other business bids will be sought for a spillway on the Arizona Canal in Indian Bend Wash to provide interim flood relief until a siphon is built by the Army Corps of Engineers.
