Fired guard sues over dismissal from State Prison
Ronald K. Hullan a 29 year old Mesa man filed a $1 million lawsuit against the Arizona State Department of Corrections and Warden Harold J Cardwell claiming he was terminated without valid cause. He seeks 500000 for general damages and 500000 for punitive damages stating his firing followed comments about the prison after a reporter interview. He admits a misdemeanor conviction but says it was listed on his job form and that the firing occurred July 31 near the end of his probation.
