SRP Adapts Hours to Cut Power Use and Costs
Salt River Project shifts office hours to 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and closes at 4 p.m. to lower energy use during peak 3 to 8 p.m. The move, led by general manager Rod J. McMullin, aims to save over $100,000 yearly as air conditioning and lighting are reduced. The Customer Information Center remains open longer for customers.
