Independence Day Observances Plan Fireworks and Bell Ringing
Scottsdale residents will mark July 4 with two events. The Scottsdale Elks Lodge will ring bells at 10 45 a.m. at 64th and Oak Streets. The Sipe Peterson Post American Legion will hold a fireworks display at Scottsdale Stadium at 8 p.m. Tickets are 50 cents for adults and 23 cents for children, proceeds benefiting the post’s child welfare fund.

Council Establishes Fire Zones In Tonight Session

NAACP Demands More Civil Rights Legislation in 1964 Session
