Scottsdale weighs private lease for 52 hangars at airport
Scottsdale City Council studies a proposal to lease 6 percent of airport land for 25 years to a private firm to build and operate 52 hangars with a $238.70 monthly rent and a share of gross revenues. The plan aims to meet rising demand for aircraft storage and would involve taxes and fuel revenue participation. The council also considers rebidding Eldorado Park dike work after high bids, plus bids for traffic signals at Indian Bend and Hayden roads.
