Nevada remains marriage magnet despite divorce shifts
Nevada draws a high number of weddings with no blood test or waiting period, producing about 100000 marriages to 10000 divorces in 1975. Experts note California reforms have cut into Nevada action, while wedding costs remain low and ceremonies flexible, including odd requests like a dog as a witness.
