Architects display new Fountain Hills buildings February event
Five architectural firms will show their designs in Fountain Hills on February 2 from 2 to 5 p.m. Visitors meet designers at sites including McCulloch Properties office complex designed by Summer Von Fange Associates, Fontana Racquet Club, J F Cryer residence by Rolf Olaf Osland Associates, Fountain View Condominiums, Coplaz I complex by Robert Harold Carr, and more. The town, a McCulloch Corp development, hosts the event near Scottsdale Road.

Arizona Counties Seek Reform To Curb Land Fraud
The Arizona Association of Counties proposes a 30 day legal notice rule to record property sales with the county recorder. H Lyle Grant of the Arizona Recorders Association says current practices let dishonest firms sell or mortgage land before deeds are recorded. He notes Arizona leads in land fraud and urges action to protect buyers and end contract sales.

Arizona Construction Falls 16 Percent in 1974
Arizona Review reports 1.3 billion dollars in construction in the first ten months of 1974, down 16 percent from the same period in 1973. Excluding two large power plant expansions, the decline tightens to four percent. national figures show an 18 percent drop and the west 27 percent.
