The candidate defends staying in two offices while the court cites a State Supreme Court ruling that public officials should not occupy positions that prevent them from performing duties in both roles. Officers accompanied by a Scottsdale police officer searched Eliott Glasser operated shops, citing violations of labeling laws and false import statements. Penalties may reach 5000 dollars or one year in prison.
