Mr and Mrs J H Adams entertained last Friday night with a small dinner party at their home. Guests included Ben and Mrs M Anderson and Mrs Pt Du Ross. Mrs Charles Franklin of 4244 East Osborn Road hosted a luncheon and canasta gathering on Wednesday January 11 1950.
Scottsdale PTA announces a parent education program on Home and Family Training led by Mrs. Jerry Arnold of Phoenix Union High School. The discussion targets mothers of young children but is open to all and will be held Tuesday at 2 PM in the Visual Education room of the grade school.
Mr and Mrs Women Frye entertained last Tuesday with a dinner party at their home. Guests included Mr and Mrs Sel don Windes and daughter Mr and Mrs Hubert Fant Mr and Mrs Jiggs Hardt and children. The dinner honored the birthdays of Mrs Windes and Mr Frye. The evening ended with a game of canasta.
