Good year seen for Arizona custom home builder
Bernard Young, president of Young Construction Co., says 1964 starts strong with 64 orders and 52 homes built in 1963 in Paradise Valley. The Better Homes & Gardens Idea Home near Mountain Shadows leads design trends, as buyers seek larger, more costly homes and unique features for 30 to 45 year olds. Young notes no loss of sales to apartments and asserts his firm was Arizona’s largest custom home builder in 1963.
