Fire damages vacant apartment on West Second Street
Rural Fire Department battled a stove fire at 322 W Second St yesterday. About 3500 dollars in damage occurred to the upstairs kitchen area with water seepage to the unit below. Fifteen firemen and two chiefs fought the blaze for about an hour and a half starting around 6 59 p m. The oven was blamed for starting the fire.
