Escaped Arizona inmates seize guard and couple in Tucson
Four inmates serving armed robbery sentences escaped from Arizona State Prison and took a Tucson guard and a young couple hostage. They fled in the couple's car, left a second vehicle in Coolidge, and were last seen in the area around Florence as police hunt for Paul Jorgenson Richard Benfield Michael Clary and John Lamb. The guard John W. Stith was unharmed and cooperating with investigators.
