Bible correspondence course aids alcoholics via Adventist church
The Seventh Day Adventist Church in Los Angeles releases the first Bible correspondence course for alcoholics. Dr. Donald W. Hewitt says the spiritual therapy uses the Bible, includes test sheets and instructions, and is free. The program aims to help alcoholics seek God, with support from radio and church networks and interest from doctors and temperance workers.
