Beavers Host Two Weekend Tilts Against Ajo and Peoria
The Scottsdale Beavers return home to face the Ajo Red Raiders Friday and the Peoria Panthers Saturday after two away games on unfamiliar courts. Ajo’s Frank Nogales is a leading opponent, averaging near 20 points and scoring 28 in a recent game. The Beavers seek a bounce back from a 29 to 39 loss to Santa Cruz, with Wayne Geddes at center and guards Al Bracamonte and Arvil Burkett likely, plus Dear Harper and Fred Taylor at forward.
