Truck Collides With Home on East Moreland Ave
A southbound truck on 78th Street crashed into Bruce Schomp's home at 7801 E Moreland Ave causing rubble but no injuries at the residence. Driver Brian Jacobs 20, of 7915 E Culver, said a stuck gas pedal led to the impact and the truck also struck a parked car owned by Michael Culshaw before hitting the house. Jacobs was treated and released from Scottsdale Memorial Hospital. The incident prompted concerned parents to speak out about a cult linked to Moon organizations including CARP, with one mother claiming brainwashing of her daughter Judy and others and noting university inquiries at ASU.
