Rev Leslie J Ross presides over services at Methodist Church on Malin and Marshall Streets. Morning worship at 11 00 a m daily evangelistic services session and training at 3 00 p m youth groups at 6 30 p m and evangelistic advance for Christ and His Church at 7 30 p m with Dr James Turnbull preaching. Weekday evenings 7 30 p m evangelistic services Monday through Friday.
Sunday School at 10 00 a m and Sacrament Meeting at 7 30 p m announced by Bishop Jarad John. News notes Mr and Mrs Ned Keeton return from Dallas and Mr and Mrs A Warren Austin host Mr and Mrs John Helm and son Kenny from Chula Vista California.
The Desert News reports from Paradise Valley on the second annual Scottsdale Horse Rodeo where riders and horses earned multiple placing honors. Pat Seymour's Chanute won Jumping, Ann Drew's Charcoal took second in Matched Pairs, Bud Strahm's Tommy Clipper claimed several top finishes, and many others from Desert Kilns Camelback Inn and local ranches earned finals spots.
