Two Armed Robberies Hit Scottsdale and Phoenix

In Scottsdale a 51 year old man, Harry Keickemeyer, reports $4,000 cash and $2,800 in jewelry stolen from his apartment after two men tied him and a friend and searched for valuables. In Phoenix, a separate incident near Second Street yielded $23 from Mr and Mrs Robert Wooley as two gunmen demanded they return to the building.

Bartos wins round in city suit over sewer fees

Arizona case reports the State Supreme Court ruling that a city sewer charge may be unconstitutional when used to imprison for debt.
