Reuben Blackwater of the Salt River Indian reservation was found dead in a ditch near 8500 East Thomas Road Saturday night. An autopsy cited acute alcoholism with no sign of foul play. His wife said he left home Friday morning for Phoenix and did not return. He was 48.
