Arizona film industry blamed on high workmen's comp costs
Fred Graham, a Scottsdale resident and former stunt man, says Arizona treats filmmakers as a leper colony due to high workmen's compensation insurance. He cites letters from Universal and others noting high rates and legal liabilities, and notes producers are moving to Utah Colorado New Mexico. He calls it a one-man crusade to attract film work back to Arizona.
